Fate (and friends) nudged Laura and Naomi together in the summer of 2023. While they had spoken few words to each other, both women were aware of each other’s existence. They had mutual friends. Naomi worked the weekday shift at US Pizza with Camdyn, Laura’s friend and former roommate. That summer, Laura started frequenting a bar stool at the restaurant, and Naomi took notice.

As summer heated up, so did their spark. Tyler (Cam’s husband) hosted as a regular D&D session that Naomi attended. Laura joined, crushing on Naomi. In a crazy coincidence, they both played as warlock tieflings.
